A note from Program Coordinator Ed Wetherbee…
Friends and Partners,

I am pleased to tell you about our second Jam Session at MonTec. After a very successful first event, this second session features Venture Capital, Part 1, a small-group discussion that I will facilitate. This will focus on my personal experience as a partner in six funds…The internal workings of an early-stage fund… providing insight into the struggle over investment valuation and the ownership VC’s demand. We hope to generate discussion about your personal experiences with investors, your questions, or your concerns if you are considering a VC or Angel investment in your company.

MSU Billings College of Business, Big Sky Economic Developement Authority and the MTIP will co-host the half day seminar created by internationally known entrepreneur and angel investor Bill Payne, a part time Montana resident, and Liz Marchi of the Montana Angel Network on financing a high impact venture.
