Biographical Info

Established through the NIH’s Centers of Biomedical Research Excellence Program, researchers in the CSFN work at the interface of pharmacology, synthetic chemistry, physiology, genetics and biochemistry to advance our understanding of the nervous system with a strong focus on the molecular mechanisms of brain injury and disease. The CSFN is equally committed to Neuroscience education through its affiliation with the University’s Neuroscience Graduate Program and the newly offered undergraduate major in Neuroscience.
