Ab Basu Earns State Government Affairs Council Distinction

We all knew Ab was remarkable, though we now have one more reason to boast. The State Government Affairs Council (SGAC) announced last week that Ab joined 24 others in completing the State Government Affairs Professional Certificate Program. Congratulations to Ab!

HHS Health Reform Implementation DC Meeting

On August 14 The US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) hosted a regional health reform implementation forum in Washington DC.  During the in-person meeting HHS officials discussed five unique topics that primarily related to reform implementation issues in the states.  These 5 topics included: Health Insurance Exchanges, Medicaid Expansion, Consumer Education, Exchange/Private Plan Management, and The Essential Health Benefit (EHB) Standards and Policy Development. From our perspective, not much new information was gleaned from the meeting.  Contact John Murphy for more information.
